A dichotomy for Polish modules

چکیده
Let R be a ring equipped with proper norm. We show that under suitable conditions on R, there is natural basis continuous linear injection for the set of Polish R-modules which are not countably generated. When division ring, this can taken to singleton.

Modules for which every non-cosingular submodule is a summand
A module $M$ is lifting if and only if $M$ is amply supplemented and every coclosed submodule of $M$ is a direct summand. In this paper, we are interested in a generalization of lifting modules by removing the condition"amply supplemented" and just focus on modules such that every non-cosingular submodule of them is a summand. We call these modules NS. We investigate some gen...
متن کاملA Submodule-Based Zero Divisors Graph for Modules
Let $R$ be commutative ring with identity and $M$ be an $R$-module. The zero divisor graph of $M$ is denoted $Gamma{(M)}$. In this study, we are going to generalize the zero divisor graph $Gamma(M)$ to submodule-based zero divisor graph $Gamma(M, N)$ by replacing elements whose product is zero with elements whose product is in some submodules $N$ of $M$. The main objective of this pa...
متن کاملDichotomy for Voting Systems
Scoring protocols are a broad class of voting systems. Each is defined by a vector (α1, α2, . . . , αm), α1 ≥ α2 ≥ · · · ≥ αm, of integers such that each voter contributes α1 points to his/her first choice, α2 points to his/her second choice, and so on, and any candidate receiving the most points is a winner. What is it about scoring-protocol election systems that makes some have the desirable ...
متن کاملA Control Dichotomy for Pure Scoring Rules
Scoring systems are an extremely important class of election systems. A length-m (so-called) scoring vector applies only to m-candidate elections. To handle general elections, one must use a family of vectors, one per length. The most elegant approach to making sure such families are “family-like” is the recently introduced notion of (polynomial-time uniform) pure scoring rules [BD10], where ea...
